About Us
We are Bill & Ronnie (Veronica) Campbell and we take huge pride and care in running our bed & breakfast. Over the last 30 years we have run bed & breakfasts alongside bringing up 5 children and 3 foster children… at times it was a very busy household! The children have now grown up and moved out and we have taken our years of experience and completely renovated Stable Cottage in 2014 to create our idea of the perfect bed & breakfast. Our vision was for a bed and breakfast that combines the privacy of a separate guest side to the house with comfort, a warm welcome and stylish personal touches. We hope you’ll agree we’ve achieved it!

We love meeting people, recommending places to stay, chatting about the area, giving lifts to the station or local attractions when we’re available and generally welcoming people to our home. We love the variety and range of people that come through our door: business people looking for a good night’s sleep, great wifi and a central location; families with young children who enjoy the little touches of toys, books, high chair, travel cot and large family room; tourists enjoying the plethora of places to visit nearby and getting a real taste of British hospitality; regulars who come back year after year and who have become as much friends as guests; young couples staying for a local wedding or party.
